Stan Godek
Group Managing Director

Stan brings to our clients over 30 years experience in the building industry and the benefit of a leading edge perspective on new developments in the wall and ceiling sector.

With background skills in architecture, acoustic treatments, thermal insulation, estimating and contract management he has been involved in developing a number innovative structural techniques. These techniques have put the Project Group at the forefront of our sector of the building industry.

Having worked within a number of Industry Employer associations in the structuring of enterprise agreements and other industry matters he is an experienced industrial negotiator.

He is a past Vice President of the Association of Wall & Ceiling Industries Victoria and has played a role on a number of MBAV sub-committees.

Stan is highly respected as a builder and regarded by many as a leader within our sector of the industry.

Stan now spends his time between Australia and the UAE, where he and Mark have established a new company, Godek International LLC.

Gary Wilby
General Manager - Australia

Gary came to us in 1992 with an established background in carpentry and contract administration. Over that time he has proven his skills in all aspects of our business and is presently assuming more of the responsibilities and duties of general management from Stan.

In particular he has ensured that the groups contract administration, quality and safety plans are second to none. Having played a part in the successful completion of so many projects, Gary's work has also allowed the group to expand into the New South Wales, Queensland and New Zealand markets and into the general fit out and finish sectors of our industry.

Mark Godek
Managing Director - Middle East

Mark has been with us since 1998 and during that time has learnt the business from the ground up and demonstrated his ability as a key member of our leadership group.

He has been pivotal to our winning many major projects and in ensuring they are successfully completed.

Mark's knowledge and professionalism is highly respected and he creates productive and enjoyable work relationships with our staff, our clients and our suppliers.

Mark has recently moved to Dubai to head up our new company in the MIddle East, Godek International LLC.

Brendan Loizeau
Estimator - Administrator

Brendan has been with us since 2003 and has since played an important part in our team. With a background in drafting he has amply demonstrated his estimating ability and was also responsible for much of the administration on the Mercy and TPCH Hospitals as well as being in charge of the QA on those projects.

Brendan has recently taken over the administration of our New Zealand projects after Mark's move to Dubai, and continues to administer our Queenslad projects.

He brings to his role a great ability to get on with people that supports his professional ability.

Branko Granic
Site Supervisor

Starting with us back in 1988 Branko has time and time again proved himself to be a man to get things done and in doing so won the respect of our staff and clients alike.

Branko has been "our man in New Zealand" since 2000 and has completed a string of successful projects there.

These have included Queensgate Shopping Centre in Lower Hutt, Riccarton Mall in Christchurch, the St Lukes, Manukau, West City, Shore City and Albany shopping centres in Auckland, the Chartwell Shopping Centre in Hamilton and The Nuffield Precinct project in Newmarket.

He is currently back in Christchurch looking after the new extension to the Riccarton Mall.

Geoff Hawker
Construction Manager - Australia

Geoff joined us in 1993 at The Eastland Shopping Centre site after working as a supervisor for a smaller contractor for a number of years. He quickly displayed his abilities and was put in charge of his first job for us at the Greensborough Plaza Cinemas project in 1994.

Geoff has been a critical factor in many of our successes since then.

These have included Melbourne's Mercy Hospital, Brisbane's Prince Charles Hospital, Watergardens Shopping Centre, South Melbourne Lifestyle Centre, C3 at Docklands and, most recently, Westfield's Bay City Shopping Centre in Geelong.

Geoff is now back in Melbourne where he has taken on the role of Construction Manager for our Australian operation.

Aart Specksnyder (Speks)
Site Supervisor

Speks is very well regarded in the industry, having worked for one of our competitors for almost 30 years.

He joined us during the Mercy Hospital project in mid 2004, and has since looked after significant sites at Karingal Cinemas, Karingal Shopping Centre and Watergardens Shopping Centre.

His supreme efforts at Watergardens Shopping Centre were a key to our success in overcoming delays by supporting trades to completing this major project on time.

Speks' skill with all facets of our sector and his tireless work ethic make him a very valuable member of our team.

He has recently completed the Dandenong Cinemas project and will shortly start our project for Virgin Active in Bourke Street.

Andrew McLennan
Site Supervisor

Andy joined us in early 1996 and has been a key to our success on a number of major projects since.

Initially taking the responsibility of looking after our Greensborough Plaza Shopping Centre site he later worked with distinction on the Mercy Hospital and the Prince Charles Hospital Projects where he was part of our leadership team.

His excellent skills and good nature ensure that he is very well liked and respected and instills his dedication in our younger staff.

Andy is back from enjoying himself working in NZ with Branko at Albany and will soon join be travelling to Brisbane to join the team on the PACE project..

Margo Shiels
Office Manager

Margo is a recent addition to the Group, only joining us in August 2000.

Margo is responsible for ensuring that the office is run smoothly and effectively, as well as being the PA for the Directors.

She very ably ensures that all of the Payroll, Accounts, Taxes, Insurances, Superannuation, Redundancy, Leave Entitlements and Workers Compensation obligations are properly taken care of.

She is also our rehabilitation coordinator, ensuring injured workers are back to work as soon as possible.

Margo is not afraid of hard work, putting in as many hours as required to make sure the job is well done, often working back quite late and working in with our Directors' schedules.
